Specification information: One-piece, aluminum mount with integral rings is precision machined to true mil-std 1913 picatinny specs for a secure fit on flattop receiver rails. Ring height and forward offset are ideal for use with long eye relief scopes. Mounts available for 1"/30mm and 34mm scope tubes. 1"/30mm mount accepts scopes with both 30mm tubes and, using the included polymer adapter shims, 1" tubes. Torx head screws (4 on 1"/30mm, 6 on 34mm and 35mm) secure each top ring strap to hold the optics tight under heavy recoil. Full-length base clamps to the receiver with five, equally spaced crossbolts for a rock-solid fit and zero movement. Mfg: j p enterprises specs: 6061 t6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. Specification information: The design goal of our extended eye relief scope mount was to take advantage of the generous eye relief found in the new generation of 1-4x, 1-6x and 1-8x rifle scopes ideally suited to practical rifle applications, whether field or competition. Used at 1x, the scope itself will effectively disappear from view to allow function similar to a true 1x dot sight. This technique, though, requires the scope to be mounted farther forward than usual, which is difficult to do with standard mounts without bridging the receiver and hand guard rail. This, of course, can be cumbersome and lead to possible poi shift due to flex in the hand guard. This modified version of our classic scope mount solve mfg: j p enterprises.
