Proprietary steel alloy is precision machined with the latest cnc equipment, then vacuum heat-treated to rc 49-51 for superb strength and tension-retaining properties. All inside corners are radiused to eliminate the sharp 90º corners where failures often occur. Claw is wider than factory specification and undercut and positioned closer to the bolt face for a tighter grip on the case rim. Body is longer, so it can be custom fitted to your slide, and nearly three times as thic mfg: egw specs: steel, heat-treated, blued. Fits series 70 1911 auto pistols, .45 acp or .38 super/9mm.
